|I have been pretty busy lately and I haven't really done much in the way of updates. I started a new job at a firm called Technicon. I've been working on a couple of buildings for the State Botanical Garden of Georgia at the University of Georgia in Athens. That's been pretty cool. In Army news, that's going ok. I found out about my AT (2 weeks in June) project. My platoon(s) will be putting in a culvert and 2 headwalls at Fort Gordon. I've also got orders for late August to attend The Army Instructor Training Course at Fort Benning. That will also be 2 weeks.|
Let's see... what else? Oh, I'm getting pretty fat. I'm about 210 lbs right now. I have got to drop this weight. I have been running again and I have been doing my pushups and hitting the gym. I just need to do a little more, and eat a lot less. I ran 5 miles on Thursday night. I really need that. I need to get back in shape. This run is going to kick my butt. I was going to do a 5K this morning, but when I went to the race, it had been canceled due to the storms we are having right now.
Storms.... yeah, my roof still leaks. The roofer we hired was a jerk and I'm going to have to hire someone else to fix what he did. I'm going to send him a bill. I'm sure we will end up in small claims or something.
Well, that's enough for now I guess. I'll try to post more regularly again. As a matter of fact, I will do the fitness log on-line so that I have some nagging accountability help with motivation.
