You Think You're Tough?

I heard about this dude a while ago. He lost an eye fighting in Iraq and instead of a medical discharge he wanted to earn the right to be called Ranger. They put him on the cover of Men's Health magazine. This is a HOOAH dude. Guys like this really get me motivated to be a better person. Sprenger not only passed it (Ranger School) but was also singled out as the epitome of the Ranger creed--"Readily will I display the intestinal fortitude required to . . . complete the mission, though I be the lone survivor"--and asked to recite that creed at his graduation ceremony last July. Since the army began keeping records a quarter century ago, he is the first man with his kind of physical disability to earn the Ranger patch (it's called a Tab). Read more...
