BUDDHISM FOR HUMANISTS

Since I have been going all over the place with my "milblog", I might as well get everyone looking at some Buddhism stuff too. I found an article that really does a pretty good job of explaining Buddhism from a rational perspective. It's not all about saffron robes, shave heads, and incense. It isn't "new age" either. It's a pragmatic view. And yes... Soldiers can be Buddhists too.

Interesting. I don't know that much about Buddhism, even though you gave me that book about two years ago. There is a guy I work with down the hall that married a woman from Laos and was married in a Buddhist temple. Their traditional wedding garb included this huge sheet like thing and the male wears a big sword. That's pretty cool.
