Television
| OK, as many of you know, I am all for getting rid of TV. I refused to pay for cable for years because I was on a philosphical binge that television makes us dumber and takes away from quality time we could be using to accomplish more meaningful goals in our life. If nothing else, we could be spending quality time with those we love instead of mindlessly tuning in to "the plug in drug", but being a hypocrite makes us human. I am human. I watched a few new shows the past two nights. First up, "Law and Order". I'm addicted. I can't help it. Why is it that there are two networks that run this show like 24 hours a day, it is always the same plot, and I just can't get enough? Something must be wrong with me, but then wait, a new twist this season, now they have combined actors from the 5 different Law and Orders and they appear together on the same show. It's genius. I can't wait to watch again next week. I also watched "Commander in Chief". This show had high cheese potential. I have to say, Geena Davis gets my vote though. Anyone else, I probably would have turned it off. Finally, I watched E-Ring. Also high cheese potential, but I will definitely watch it again next week. Dennis Hopper is just cool. Trying to keep this one shorter for today. Have a good one. - M Oh, P.S. - check out Partamian's Progress. Tell him to keep up the good work and motivation. Go LT. |

Tell "M" that he needs to go to the gym with Partamian.
I'm a LOST junkie myself, and I highly reccomend it. if you've never seen it you'll have to rent the first season DVDs and start that way otherwise it will be a lost cause.
TV's Law and Order... it was almost always about...
"depraved indifference"
